The travel from Rome to Pompeii is longer than the time spent in the 2 sites: Pompeii & Positano. I understand the distance necessitates the brief visits and that's why I can only recommend it with that caveat. Lastly, no time was given to visit the gift store in Pompeii. However, the site guide, Hillary, was excellent.
We thoroughly enjoyed the day visiting Pompeii and the Amalfi. Pompeii was amazing to see and we and our kids really enjoyed the tour of the ruins! The guide there was extraordinary in her knowledge of the site and her ability to bring it to life! The Amalfi was stunning to see. We failed to appreciate how hot, crowded and overpriced Positano would be, but that is not a reflection on the tour guide or company!
Matia made this a fun and engaging day. He shared Italy’s history and had a deep knowledge of the places that we visited. Our guide in Pompeii, Brunella, did an incredible job taking through the city.
Antonella was excellent. We felt very well looked after. The bus was very comfortable and Horacio was a very good driver. We loved both of our destinations and Antonella brought them to life. Thank you!
Walks is very convenient to book with. Our shuttle ride was comfortable. Our guide Manuela was fantastic. Our Pompeii guide was amazing. Both were kind, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to all the guests. Pompeii is so much more than I realized. Truly the highlight of our trip to Italy Don't pass this up!
