Chiara was a great tour guide easily found at Piramide. She looked after everyone well and was very knowledgeable during the tour. The tour itself was great, taking you to the aqueduct park, catacombs and Appian way. All very enjoyable.

Very nice tour and our guide Chiara was excellent. The tour took about 3,5h and some walking on coble stone streets so no high heels ladies. If a warm day remember to take water with you.

I am sorry to say I cannot remember our guides name. 40 to 45, tall and slender. Michael...Markus??? He was fantastic. Incredibly knowledgeable of all aspects of Roman history, not just the sites we were guided through. Personable and an absolute pleasure to be with. The tour was a fantastic way to start our tours of Rome

IMPORTANT: What should I wear?
The bone crypts and catacombs beneath churches are holy places so attire must be appropriate for the visit. Both men and women are asked to wear clothing that covers at least the shoulders and knees. Walks cannot be held responsible for denied entry due to improper dress. It is sufficient to bring extra coverings with you and put them on before our entrance to the holy areas.
Can I take pictures at the sites visited on the Catacombs tour?
In the Catacombs, pictures are allowed but you are not allowed to shoot any frescoes with flash photography because of the effect that flash has on the paint.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
No. Unfortunately, due to site restrictions we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. Guests should be prepared for a moderate level of physical activity, including standing for extended periods and climbing stairs, which may not be suitable for travelers with certain health conditions or mobility limitations.
I'm claustrophobic, will I be okay on this tour?
The Roman Catacombs are composed of narrow passagways that run deep underground. These can definitely cause problems for people who suffer from claustrophobia.
