Via Appia och akvedukterna var spännande att se. Bussen var ganska trång och guiden forcerad. Däremot var Nicholas i San Sebastiano-katakomberna mycket bra och besöket bättre än jag väntat - har besökt ett par katakomber vid tidigare tillfällen.

Wonderful trip to the coubtryside with our very experiences guide Aurelio. Aqueducts, katakombs and the vua appia got the background they deserved. Aurelio was well prepared and had pictures, maps and other equipment with him to even show us best how romans in their time made those work possible.

Can I take pictures at the sites visited on the Catacombs tour?
In the Catacombs, pictures are allowed but you are not allowed to shoot any frescoes with flash photography because of the effect that flash has on the paint.
IMPORTANT: What should I wear?
The bone crypts and catacombs beneath churches are holy places so attire must be appropriate for the visit. Both men and women are asked to wear clothing that covers at least the shoulders and knees. Walks cannot be held responsible for denied entry due to improper dress. It is sufficient to bring extra coverings with you and put them on before our entrance to the holy areas.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
No. Unfortunately, due to site restrictions we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. Guests should be prepared for a moderate level of physical activity, including standing for extended periods and climbing stairs, which may not be suitable for travelers with certain health conditions or mobility limitations.
I'm claustrophobic, will I be okay on this tour?
The Roman Catacombs are composed of narrow passagways that run deep underground. These can definitely cause problems for people who suffer from claustrophobia.
