Our guide for the evening is fantastic. Very knowledgeable and provides great insight into the history of this lovely cathedral.

Guide was excellent Such a great tour

Loved the tour. What a special and unique experience!

The only reason that I didn't rate the event "most satisfied" was that there was a scheduling mix up with the Basilica, and a different group gained access at 8:30, instead of the group that I was with. Other than that, the tour was a highlight of my trip to Venice!

Our tour was superb! Our guide Mose was outstanding - incredibly knowledgeable and able to share all the information in a very organized, comprehensible and occasionally humorous manner. We’ve experienced a number of Walks tours and all the guides have been fantastic. Looking forward to many, many more positive experiences.

If we cannot find a guide to lead you that day we'll offer you the same tour on the next avaialbe date or give you credit for another tour anywhere else in the world.
What can I bring with me on this tour?
St. Mark's Basilica has very tight rules about what you can and cannot bring inside. Anything bigger than a purse - including backpacks or luggage - is NOT allowed inside the Basilica. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any bags larger than a purse with you.
Can I take a bag with me into St. Mark's Basilica?
You can only take small bags into St. Mark's. Anything bigger than a purse - backpacks or luggage - is prohibited. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any large bags with you.
Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
