Salem Day Trip from Boston by Train: The Legacy of Witches

Guido was the best tour guide we could have hoped for! Super knowledgable and passionate about the history including but beyond the witch trials-- we learned about the local architecture, the connections to the Revolutionary War, the best tips on gift shops and eateries around town, and niche Salem trivia! Best part of our Boston trip

This was by far one of the best things we did when visiting Boston. The food tips and history made the tour come alive. The family loved the interactions at the witch museum and the peacefulness of the gardens.

Elizabeth B. was fantastic. she knew everyone's name and nade sure they felt included. she was very knowledgable and answered all the questions we had. loved the tour!!!

Our tour guide Penny was amazing, very sweet and extremely knowledgeable about the history. She took a moment to introduce the folks on the tour. My favorite part was that the group size was small compared to others we saw that had 30+ people. It made the �� tour feel more intimate and less touristy We will definitely be back!

Though the heat was unbearable, we made the most of it! Our guide, Guido, was a lot of fun and a wealth of information. Taking the train to and from Salem was really easy and very comfortable - trains were clean and not crowded. The best part is that when the tour ends, you can stay in Salem and come back when you'd like. The train ticket is good for the rest of the day! Highly recommend for a day away from Boston.

We took the tour with Elizabeth and it was fantastic. She was ready and waiting for us in the prescribed place and you could tell she was truly excited to be leading us for the tour. On the tour she was extremely informative, often adding little tidbits of information. She was very cognizant where we stopped and rested to stay out of the sun. After the tour we ran into her again on the train ride back to Boston. She recognized us and sat with us telling us more great information on what to see in the Boston area.

The whole thing was awesome. Our guide Elizabeth was super welcoming and very very knowledgeable. She makes sure everyone has a great time and gets to soak it all in. It is a lot of walking if you have any impairments.

Elizabeth was an excellent guide. She was well prepared and organized. The information was presented in an interesting fashion.
