Wow what an experience our guide Niall was such a top bloke very informative and not afraid to speak his mind or tell us all about his life. Was so refreshing to have a local who was just himself. I could not recommend Niall highly enough.

Very highly recommended. If you want to visit the main attractions in Dublin City this is your go to.
Our guide Niall was exceptional. He was full of knowledge and it was like going for a walk and a laugh with your mate. Edgy, insightful and entertaining is how I would describe his delivery. I would go round again just to spend more time with this guy.

Wonderful tour with Niall. We really enjoyed the history and getting to see the highlights of Dublin. And of course the Guinness tasting was a highlight.

Dierdra was great! Very insightful. The information was great. A nice tour we learned more about Dublin than met the eye.

Great tour! The only caveat is their was no admission to the Dublin Castle, just a walk-by. The tour should instead have admission to St. Patricks ($11 euros). It only takes 15 minutes to walk through St. Patricks without reading every exhibit to see the old church (there is only one level).

This Dublin walking tour was fantastic! Shannon was an outstanding guide who was knowledgeable, engaging, and happy to answer all our questions. Everything was organized so we didn’t have to worry about buying tickets separately, making the whole experience stress-free. Highly recommend!

Hannah was amazing! Top guide I have ever had. She was informative while still keeping it fun and throwing in random facts with history. Very entertaining and good information for the rest of our trip

We enjoyed this tour.
We met our guide at Molly Mallone statue.
First went to Trinity college.
Then went to Book of Kells. It was nit crowded at that time. Learned a lot of history. Despite no books, the library hall is impressive. The Book of Kells story is interesting and we learned about Irish language but you actually only see one small page of the text.
For the Castle of Dublin, to be clear you walk outside of it and your guide talks about it but you dont go in which surprised me give the title of tour. Anyway, its not really much of a medieval castle so was not as disappointed. Also see outside of St Patricks but not inside.
Then lunch.
Then whisky tour and tasting was interesting.
The Guinness warehouse which is kind of a tourist trap but great view of Dublin.
Be aware the guide leaves you at the warehouse and its less of a walkable/safe area than Trinity area. There is cab line so we took cab back to hotel.
Our guide Deidre was enthusiastic and full of history. We did the private tour do less crowded. After doing this on our first day, we had a better idea of how to get around and this helped introduce us to city. a d snd

If you’re booking a tour of Dublin, do yourself a favor and choose Walks — and ask for Niall if he’s available.
From the start, Niall made the tour feel like more than just sightseeing. His energy, humor, and deep love for Dublin came through in every story. He brings history to life — whether it’s the legacy of Trinity College, the wild and fascinating tale behind Irish whiskey (exploding barrels and all), or the reverent magic of the Book of Kells.
He doesn’t just recite facts — he connects with you. Niall tailored the experience to our group, remembered personal details, gave amazing local tips, and made a six-hour tour fly by. His storytelling is funny, heartfelt, and unforgettable.
This was hands down one of the best tours I’ve ever taken — not just in Ireland, but anywhere. Walks runs a great program, and Niall elevates it to another level. I left feeling inspired, entertained, and more connected to the spirit of Dublin.
Book it. You won’t regret it.
