My husband and I signed up for the tour- VIP Alone in the Prado: Exclusive Early Access Museum Tour and it was wonderful! The tour is led by an art historian and we were so lucky to have Jaime. On this tour you enter the musuem before the gates open and can view the masterpieces without crowds. It was clear that Jaime had an advanced knowledge of the museum and his tour was well-curated combining Spanish (and European) history and art. Since this tour includes a ticket to the Prado, you are free to wander through the museum at the conclusion of the tour. Well worth the price- a special experience in the Prado.

Excellent

This is a fantastic tour with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. She really made the paintings come alive. I especially enjoyed her presentations on Bosch and Goya. Also you get the museum all to yourself for about a couple hours. Highly recommended!

Excellent

This was an amazing experience! My husband and I went with a group of about 15, and it was so wonderful to get up close to the art and be able to take our time with it with no crowds. Our tour guide Beatriz was amazing as well; she gave lots of fascinating information about each painting that she highlighted and was very knowledgeable and fun. Unforgettable—a highlight of our trip to Madrid.

Excellent

This was one of my favorite tours of all time. The ability to access the Prado a full hour for opening, with a great guide, was amazing. We essentially had the Prado to ourselves (15 people in the group), and Adam did a fantastic job of guiding us through the museum highlights. Adam was extremely knowledgeable and engaging, and the 90 minutes flew by. I would do this tour again in a heart beat!
