An amazing tour! Our guide Cassie Hooper went above and beyond. It was like a personal tour led by a very cool old friend. Highest possible recommendation!

Cassie is a great tour guide! This is the second time I have done this tour with her. I brought friends and family with me this time. Great tour of the Prado and excellent lunch at Botín!

This tour met all of my expectations and more. I knew I would get an informed visit to the Prado and I knew I would have lunch at the oldest restaurant in Madrid, but the real key here was the guide, Arantxa. She was excellent and provided really great information, not only about the museum and the restaurant, but the city in general. Would highly recommend this tour - especially if you get Arantxa as your guide!

We absolutely loved this tour. It is a must do when in Madrid. Our guide, Arantxa, was so engaging and knowledgeable and access to tour Restaurant Botin before opening was amazing. The food at Botin was incredible and Arantxa's informed commentary at the Prado and throughout the tour was thoroughly enjoyable. Easily one of our highlights whilst in Madrid.

Really enjoyed this highlights of the Prado museum tour. Due to time constraints it really made sense. Our tour guide Montse was knowledgeable about the art. We felt we saw many of the important pieces. She also made the trip to an older bar and our lunch at restaurant Botin really excellent. We benefited from her explanation of food, etc. We met some really nice people on the tour, which was an added bonus and really enjoyed yourself. Highly recommend . More expensive than we usually spend on tours but worth it.
Professional, informative, inclusive.
This tour will not disappoint even the most discerning tourist. I carefully consider if you are a person who dawdles as Sean (guide) sets a good pace to squeeze as much as possible for you.
This is a fantastic tour and way to see two of the "Madrid greats" in one comprehensive tour. Having a guide to help navigate the bustling Prado museum was such a benefit, and getting to have lunch at one of the oldest restaurants in the world was a real treat. Highly recommend this tour!
This was a fabulous tour. Our guide, Isabella, was so knowledgeable, interesting, and fun. The power tour through the Prada was a very compelling experience covering the great arts in context with the time and art. Lunch at Botin was extraordinary, made even more so by the tour of the cellar and “ external flame”. The service and food were excellent.
Arantxa was a fabulous tour guide. She had a wealth of knowledge of Madrid, both past and present. Her knowledge of the art and artists at the Prado museum was truly impressive. 90 minutes at the Prado flew by in an instant, but gave a great introduction to what the museum has to offer. The walk through the literary quarter was a lot of fun. The stop for vermut was an unexpected highlight. I even bought a bottle to take back home. As for Botín, it lived up to the hype. It is living history and after eating the food, I can understand why it has been around for as long as it has. I can’t recommend this tour enough!
We loved our tour with Montse! We had our teen daughters with us and admittedly - I was nervous about holding their attention in the Prado. Montse was able to make the works relatable to them while also sharing additional detail that I was interested in. My husband found it interesting and engaging too! The stop at a tapas bar was great to acclimate us to that experience and made us much more comfortable doing it ourselves. Botín was a lovely experience and a delicious meal. Also - Montse was careful to be attentive to several food allergies and a vegetarian in our group. It was a fantastic experience. My second time booking with Walks and I highly recommmend.
Our tour guide, Rosita was excellent. The tour was a perfect intro to the Prado museum and it was wonderful to see Botin before opening. The stop to try Vermut was perfect as well. The only issue was at the end, we didn't have a chance to tip Rosita and would like to - please let us know if we can arrange to get her tip to her. We look forward to doing another devour tour as soon as possible!
