This tour was fantastic! Cassie, our delightful guide, was able to help me appreciate the art at the Prado with her lively stories and relevant history. The group was wonderful and we enjoyed a delicious and very special meal at Botín. Highly recommend!!

This is an incredible tour!! Alfonzo was an exceptional guide. We wound up being the only two guests on his tour, so we got the VIP private treatment. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the art and the history around it. We had the best day exploring with him. And it was a real treat to have lunch at the oldest restaurant in the world. We learned so much today. Absolutely take this tour, and ask for Alfonzo!

Spectacular experience elevated to best ever by the enthusiasm and knowledge of our Guide ARANTXA. <br />She knows the Prado inside and out. Knew how to avoid the crowds and get us up close. Her depth of knowledge,humor and love for the art is the best I've ever experienced. And that was only half the tour!<br />Part 2 was a behind the scenes tour and full lunch at Botin. The oldest continuously operating restaurant in the world. Highlights..Suckling pig, croquetttes,artichokes and over the top Basque cheesecake. All with great Spanish wine.<br />Arantxa is a delight and I would go anywhere with her!

She is knows her ART STUFF and her PrADO tour was delightful and filled with interesting nuggets... and the art wasn't bad either... tHE Art WAs EXQUISite!!! and then Botin for lunch? oH My GOD- fantastic. Great detailed experience of the museum! The guide Monste was the best! Not only did I get the facts I got the drama behind known art. Best for getting a double whammy of Madrid’s art history and food history, the Botin was immaculate and portion sizes were huge!

We had an amazing day with Mariano who had a great knowledge of the Prado. Importantly he framed the Prado tour around several themes which made it more interesting and connected. Then we went to Botin for lunch, saw the kitchen and cellars and then went to our seats (this restaurant is very difficult to get into and we went straight to the front of the line……before it even opened!!). The suckling pig lunch was amazing and we learned additional cultural insights from Mariano. Just a fabulous tour. Highly recommended.
