We had an amazing time with Adam (Team Adam always!) - he was engaging, entertaining, informative, super knowledgeable, and all in all, the 3 hours passed in a blink. The Louvre is a monster of a museum, but Adam navigated us through the highlights (and the chaos) with absolute mastery. We also appreciated his obvious enthusiasm for the topic at hand, and were inspired by his love for art, history, architecture, as well as the particular pieces he introduced us to. I am extremely glad to have booked this tour and the luck of having Adam for our guide. Anyone who wants to experience the Louvre in the best way possible needs to get on this tour, and with Adam (if you are fortunate to get him!)

El Louvre es un museo enorme y tuvimos poco tiempo en París. Yo había estado antes, pero mis amigos y mi pareja no. Este fue el recorrido perfecto - los puntos destacados - y nuestro guía, Antoine, fue genial. No solo era conocedor y amable, sino que realmente involucró a todos en la gira.

I had the most amazing experience on this tour with Adam!! He is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and kept the group engaged throughout the tour. He not only thoroughly explained all of the highlights but also sprinkled in some knowledge about countless other works of art throughout the Louvre. The entire time my friend and I kept turning to each other and saying how incredible the experience was. Thank you, Adam, for making our first trip to Paris one we will never forget!!!

We did the “Skip-the-line/Highlights” tour of The Louvre and although it was only 2hrs, it was the most enjoyable and engaging tour I’ve had thus far. Adam is a GEM of a guide!

This was an amazing tour led by an excellent tour guide, Amhed, who really brought all the works of art to life. His extensive knowledge, articulate and clear communication skills and his great passion made this tour enjoyable and really interesting. I was moved to tiers in front the Venus of Milo. Do I need to bring an ID with me on this tour?
Yes! Please ensure that all members of your party, including children, have a valid ID on them on the day of the visit.
What can I bring inside the Louvre Museums?
Please note that the Louvre will not allow large items inside the museum, so you should bring only a small daypack or handbag. More specifically, only bags smaller than 21.5 in x 13.5 in x 7.5 in (55 cm x 35 cm x 20) cm are permitted. Suitcases and large bags must be left outside. Closed, clear bottles of water are allowed inside the Louvre however food is forbidden inside the site. Please be advised that the use of selfie sticks and flash photography is not allowed inside the Louvre. Additional security checks may cause longer waits at unavoidable security lines at times.
Can you guarantee that I will see every room in the Louvre listed here?
We can't guarantee it, but it's very likely. As with all museums, particular galleries of the Louvre may be closed without prior notice, or pieces may be removed for restoration or loan. In this case, your guide will make an appropriate substitution. However, as the pieces and the rooms we visit on our tour are the most important in the museum, these are the ones least likely to close or leave on loan.
I use a wheelchair. Can I take this tour?
Unfortunately, this tour route is not fully wheelchair accessible. However, an alternate route can be arranged to accommodate visitors in wheelchairs. Please contact our Guest Experience Team at least one month before the tour to discuss arranging a private tour that meets your accessibility needs.
