Our Tour Guide (Maggie) was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited, as well as Chinatown in general. We arrived a little early so she went out of her way to take us to see a rehearsal for the Lion Dance. She was very passionate about Chinatown and it's history. The tour was fun and informative.

Excellent quality, an in-depth tour essential for any visit to Chinatown. The educational aspect of this tour is superior to most others. Be prepared to hear facts that invite intrigue and shock, you will learn lots! Ted is a charismatic and knowledgeable guide.

Marie was wonderful. We had a fun and engaging tour with history and context for so many sites.

Our tour guide Robin was excellent. She was well prepared for the walk. She told us a lots of stories

Maggie was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would recommend this to others.

I would have appreciated better communication about the structure of the tour. We assumed (from info provided) that it would start with Alcatraz then move over to Chinatown directly after the ferry returned from Alcatraz. We found out when we arrived that we would be expected to do our own thing in between the ferry return to the pier and 4pm, when the tour resumed in Chinatown. The communication stated to expect 4 hours for the tour. It should have been communicated that it was non-continuous. The tour was also clearly geared for adults. We had elementary age children with us and some of the information the guide shared (e.g. talking about sex workers) was not age appropriate.

Guide Ellen was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Booking and confirmation communication via email was helpful and efficient. Management of tour details was equally so. Maggie, the tour guide for Alcatraz, and the second group was superb. While I would continue to recommend having guests meet guides at the "cowfish" spot, stepping away from the street traffic would help lessen the ambient distractions. Robin, very friendly, appeared to be equally knowledgeable but perhaps less seasoned than Maggie. Her presentation seemed a bit anxious and unsettled, like she needs just a few more reps to relax into her pacing. Both guides were approachable and responsive to inquiry. Overall, we were pleased with the pacing and content of both walks. Thank you!

Loved Maggie! She was an awesome guide!

The tour was awesome. Brandon was excellent and very patient. He took us to several amazing places and was super knowledgable about each one. We LOVED this tour and would highly recommend it!
