I love Devourtours! We went on one in Seville and I could not wait for this San Sebastian tour! Dean was a fun guide and he took real good care of our group. It was my first dinner and it was a great way to familiarize myself with the Old Town.
We went to Cervecerías La Mejillonera for the tigre mussles, mussles in onion n parsley, patatas Bravas paired with dry Basque cider. Passing through Konstituzio Plaza, we headed to Bar Sport for bacalao in white wine sauce and grilled squid in green sauce paired with Txakoli, then to Sirimiri for a generous serving of duck magret paired with Viñestral crianza rioja. Then off to the famous Gandarias for its pintxo solomillo (sirlion steak) with Navarra wine and finally to La Viña, the creator of the Basque cheesecake, paired with Jerez sherry. It was even better when I poured the sherry on the cheesecake! What a wonderful evening!
