San Sebastian Ultimate Pintxos & Wine Tour in the Old Town

Our guide Amala, facilitated a really enjoyable evening with a small group of like minded foodies. She provided a really good insight into the Basque cuisine culture, focusing on Pintxos of course but specifically her in-depth knowledge of wine was appreciated. This tour will last long in our memories for all the right reasons!

We visited five different Pintxos places. We had one or two different pintxos at each place paired with cider or wine. All the food was excellent as was the wine and our guide. Gabby was very knowledgeable, very pleasant and was a great guide. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat!

We had an awesome evening tour tasting delicious pinxto with Sandra from Devour Tours. We visited five different venues where tried different drinks and food. It was a great group and Sandra was entertaining and had lots of local knowledge. Would highly recommend doing a tour like this when you’re staying in San Sebastián.

Mattin is an outstanding tour guide! As a chef who originates from San Sebastián, he knew the pinchos to try which were delicious and diverse. He also was able to get us into locations quickly and easily even if lines. His knowledge of Basque and Spanish history was an added bonus. I would strongly recommend this tour. We had a group of 8 folks and it was a good size.

Hector was our guide and was fabulous. We were traveling with another couple from southern CA and met a couple from Ireland and a gentleman from France. The food was good both in quality and quantity as was the wine. A fun way to spend an evening in San Sebastián!

I did the daytime tour with Hector and it was just what I hoped for. He is from the city, passionate about local food and culture, and knows just about everyone! We enjoyed generous samplings of several Basque specialties visiting predominantly long time family-owned establishments. Hector also pointed out his special spots as we walked along. Even though most might prefer the scene of an evening tour, I really enjoyed being able to have a bit more space for the group and hear the conversation. A great foundation for venturing out on my own. A great day!

great guide and selection of stops for food and drinks. did a lot in a couple of hours in spite of a bit of a rainy start. had a full group but shared experience was great.

Begonia was the perfect guide. She was so knowledgeable about San Sebastian, the Basque culture as well as the food and wine. The whole experience was delightful.
