A Fun History Lesson + A Trip on the Potomac! Our tour got off to a great start following a few disconnects in obtaining the tickets. Instructions on getting to the meeting point were spot on, and Matt was there to greet us. History buffs will LOVE Matt as he is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing that knowledge. Seems there could be a few adjustments made to the itinerary (some destinations need more or less time that allotted), but I understand this is a new tour so I'm sure the proper revisions will be made in the future. Even so, it was a great tour and I highly recommend.

We would give Ayana a 5+++ review rating! Her deep knowledge about the greater DC area and Old Town Alexandria exceeded our expectations! We met her at the wharf and found out we were the only people on the tour- private tour! Her stories about early American people and history are exceptional. We visited the wharf there, historic homes, the Episcopal church (which was the Church of England), A famous public house, amazing cupcake shop, and more. Such a wonderful walking tour.

We met her at the wharf and found out we were the only people on the tour- private tour! Her stories about early American people and history are exceptional. Saw a lot of interesting buildings. We even got to see the St Patrick’s Day Parade. Plus the Farmers Market. Where we all bought something.
