Our guide, Kyle, was great. “Skipping” the line at the National Archives is definitely a no brainer for a must do tour. We were one of the first groups to see the documents without a wait. The wait line outside was incredibly long. Not only did Kyle provide us with history about the documents, but on our walk to the Capitol, he gave us an informative overview of the Mall and some of the surrounding museums. He was engaging and interesting to talk with. At the Capitol, he got us through security and made sure we had our tickets before turning us over to the Capitol tour guides. Overall, definitely worth the price!

It was a wonderful tour with good variety on a warm day in September. We started at National Archives and ended at the US Capitol but I also enjoyed the time walking between. Besides being attentive to everyone’s individual needs, our guide, Jjana, was careful to point out any problems with the terrain as she led us through the sculpture garden and National Gallery of Art to enjoy a few highlights and very welcome air conditioning along the way. I also enjoyed sitting on a wall in the shade by the Museum of the American Indian as she explained the many features there and the beautiful ceremonial circle where relatives can honor their veterans’ sacrifices. Soon after, we arrived at the Capitol for an interesting orientation film and 50-minute tour by Olivia, our in-house guide who did a great job as well. Based on my time with them, I highly recommend Walks City Experiences.

To see the original documents you've only read about along with the how/when/why on display was a very emotional experience. Great!!!
