Our guide (female) knew a lot about the tour itself and about Washington and the history of the United States and told us a lot. It was super interesting. You get to the National Archives about 15 minutes before the official opening, so you have a few minutes of peace. Then there is a walk through the sculpture garden and along the National Mall to the US Capitol. The film and the tour of the US Capitol are highly recommended. The area is not hilly at all. You have to walk around the US Capitol once because the visitor center is on the other side. And because the US Capitol is on a hill, it is called a "hiking tour with big hills."

Our tour guide Ryan was excellent. He was knowledgeable, personable, and funny. The time spent in the National Archives was a history lesson on the beginnings of our nation due to Ryan. The Sculpture Garden was fun and walking the rest of the. National Mall was informative. We were escorted to the Capitol to join the normal tour group. That guide was also excellent

We were unable to get Capitol tours any other way, so booked this. We got right in to see the archives first thing and our guide, Ryan, was very knowledgeable and well respected by the guards. We learned a few things on our way to the Capitol and then attended the tour they provide. I highly recommend this tour.
