This is a great tour experience to knock out the big tourist attraction museums in about a half day. It’s good for if you’re limited on time in Florence for sure. Chiara was our guide, and she was exceptional. Her history, art, and culture expertise was exactly what I was looking for to learn as much as we could in a short time. It felt like a really good amount of time at each location, and it was a good amount of walking where you aren’t just totally exhausted afterwards too. I definitely recommend it, just know it’s a little steep in price but completely worth it to have such a good guide plus the skip the line entry tickets to both museums.

The tour was excellent! We wanted something that offered guidance and direction without taking up too much of our limited time in Florence, and this was just right. The group size was perfect—not too large—so it was easy to navigate everything. Our guide was outstanding: knowledgeable about the art and history, and very kind and patient with everyone.

This was absolutely worth the world and trip to Florence and they definitely find ways for you to see the highlights of both the Academia and the Ufizzi. I wish I could have stayed in Florence a bit longer because this made me realize there was still so much more to see! Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

It was the perfect way to experience the heart of Florence — rich history, incredible art, and breathtaking views all in one day. We saw everything we hoped to see in Florence. Valentina was a wonderful guide and full of energy and information. She gave great insights into each historical place and we could tell she studied well. The only glitch was the wait outside to enter Uffizzi Gallery. Yes, it was skip the line, but we still waited outside for an hour. Because of the long wait, we had to cut our tour short to make it to our train back to Rome. Thank you for a great tour, Valentina

Do I need to bring my ID?
You must provide first and last name for every guests in your party at the time of booking. All guests must also bring ID on the day of their tour.
Is Florence In A Day tour suitable for people with mobility challenges?
We would like to inform that starting from December 2, 2024, the two elevators located in the east wing of the Uffizi, near the main staircase, will be unavailable to the public due to maintenance work.
The main staircase consists of 4 flights, totaling 126 steps.
Guests who are unable to climb the stairs and require the elevator to access the main floor of the Gallery should proceed to the hall in front of the main staircase once inside the museum. There, museum staff will assist them in reaching the elevators located in the west wing.
Can I use a wheelchair on this tour?
Yes, but we require advance notice in order to accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. After booking, please contact us so that we can organize a private tour for you. If we cannot find a guide to lead you that day we'll offer you the same tour on the next available date or give you credit for another tour anywhere else in the world.
What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
Do I get to enter the Duomo on this tour?
The Florence in a Day tour does not enter the Duomo because this attraction does not offer skip-the-line tickets. If you are interested in visiting the Duomo, your guide will give you some tips on when to go in order to beat the lines.
Is lunch provided on this tour?
No. You get a 1.5 hour break for lunch during which you can eat wherever you please. Your guide will be happy to give you recommendations for nearby restaurants to suit any price range.
