Tour itself was very well done with knowledgable guide. Having said that, it was not exactly what was purchased. The day before the tour we were notified that we woo see the Duomo but instead went to Church of the Guilds. Felt like a bit of bait and switch.

This Florence tour was very brisk! It was an amazing sight to see everything but do note that it is quite a fast tour. Because there are so many things to see and very little time, the walking pace was quite quick. Christina was a good guide. Would recommend you do the tour first and then come back for places you want to take pictures.

Our guide Elena was the best, very knowledgeable about any history related topics. The tour was great, we learned a lot about the Renaissance, the Médicis, Michelangelo etc… totally worth it.

Eleanor was a great guide. Her knowledge was amazing and her ability to keep the tour engaged was fantastic. I super appreciated the time in the squares (Republic. Mayoral and Old Bridge). Would have liked a little less time in the Academia Museum and a little more in the Duomo

Great experience, and the guide was highly knowledgeable. The tour covered both inside museums and outside in the city, so it was sometimes challenging to navigate the crowds, but the guide often found the path of least resistance

Will visiting during Easter or Christmas impact my tour?
During the Christmas and Easter periods, due to increased visitor traffic, the Duomo skip-the-line option is not guaranteed. As a result, you may encounter a wait before entering the Duomo.
Can I use a wheelchair on this tour?
Yes, but we require advance notice in order to accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. After booking, please contact us so that we can organize a private tour for you. If we cannot find a guide to lead you that day we'll offer you the same tour on the next available date or give you credit for another tour anywhere else in the world.
Does the Florence Duomo have a dress code?
Yes. The Florence Duomo is a holy place and as such, you are expected to wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees when you enter. It is also prohibited to enter the Cathedral and climb to the Terraces and Cupola wearing flip-flops, slippers, clogs and shoes with heels.
Do I need to bring my ID with me on this tour?
Yes! This is especially important if you have purchased a student ticket because the museums will check when we arrive.
Can I bring my bag into Florence Duomo?
Larger backpacks are not allowed inside Florence Duomo. Please make sure to only bring small handbags on this tour.
What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
