Thank you Annette for the education about the history of art in Florence and the role it played in society. Without this tour we would have wandered through the museums admiring the work but now we can appreciate it as well.

Our tour guide Maya was outstanding. Easy to understand, knowledgeable, and personable. We had a lovely tour with her and learned a lot. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you have Maya as a guide.

Great tour in terms of content and pacing. This is the 2nd time that I have done this tour, but the first time was solo and the 2nd time was not exactly the same as the first (even though the sites and featured art pieces/builders were). Ivana R. was great: extremely pleasant; afforded time for questions and photos; and was aware of the location of her group. Thanks to her, too, for wearing clothes that made her easy to locate. Headsets were good in that they were wireless, but they did not fit well on the ear and constantly fell off. Meeting place still could be better: someone needs to hold a big banner.

The tour was an excellent one for learning art history. The two museums had the highlights of the city’s art and the guide was did a superb job explaining each work and how the art style evolved. Her art history background was put to good use. The walking tour was limited to sites between the museums.

My husband and I took this tour and loved every second of it. Our guide Angelo was knowledgeable, entertaining, personable and passionate.
We learned so much about the famous figures of Florence, the importance of the city and loved the stories that came with it. This tour is perfect for anyone coming to Florence for the 1st or the 100th time and we already look forward to the next visit.

Matt was an awesome guide and extremely passionate about his city and history. The tour broken into a morning and afternoon shift which left time to rest and eat while preparing for more tour experience. It was a perfect amount of information and discovery while in Florence for 2 days.

Is Florence In A Day tour suitable for people with mobility challenges?
We would like to inform that starting from December 2, 2024, the two elevators located in the east wing of the Uffizi, near the main staircase, will be unavailable to the public due to maintenance work.
The main staircase consists of 4 flights, totaling 126 steps.
Guests who are unable to climb the stairs and require the elevator to access the main floor of the Gallery should proceed to the hall in front of the main staircase once inside the museum. There, museum staff will assist them in reaching the elevators located in the west wing.
Can I use a wheelchair on this tour?
Yes, but we require advance notice in order to accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. After booking, please contact us so that we can organize a private tour for you. If we cannot find a guide to lead you that day we'll offer you the same tour on the next available date or give you credit for another tour anywhere else in the world.
Do I need to bring my ID with me on this tour?
Yes! This is especially important if you have purchased a student ticket because the museums will check when we arrive.
What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
Do I get to enter the Duomo on this tour?
The Florence in a Day tour does not enter the Duomo because this attraction does not offer skip-the-line tickets. If you are interested in visiting the Duomo, your guide will give you some tips on when to go in order to beat the lines.
Is lunch provided on this tour?
No. You get a 1.5 hour break for lunch during which you can eat wherever you please. Your guide will be happy to give you recommendations for nearby restaurants to suit any price range.
