Wonderful tour of Madrid sites. Alfonso was an excellent guide, he was personable, had vast knowledge of the history and facts about the sites we saw and provided excellent commentary throughout the tour he engaged with with all the people on the tour and provided great tips on places to visit eat during our time in Madrid. Walks has never disappointed us and our trust proved to be spot-on once again! Highly, highly recommend this tour...would suggest you do this earlier in your trip as it is a good orientation to the city of Madrid; we did it later in the tour and learned of a few places that we'd like to explore...have to save those for a return visit.

Our guide, Alfonso, was engaging, enthusiastic and insightful. He added much interesting background throughout the tour and catered to questions, maintaining an open dialog with us throughout the tour. One of the pest personal guides I have experienced since that with Jason Spiehler over twenty years ago in Rome and Florence.

Alfonso was delightful. He has a strong interest and passion for history and it is reflected in his commentaries. He was helpful and generous with his time. He seemed committed to giving my wife and I the best tour experience possible.

Alfonso was great ! He knew how to avoid crowds with multiple other tours happening at same time. Also, has shared with us which other places that are worth visiting while in Madrid as well his own Restaurant recommendation list. The tour itself was very interesting and wasn't boring at any part of it. Would highly recommend this tour

Carlos was a marvellous, extremely well informed guide. The group size is small.
