Ernesto was amazing! Knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Lots of interesting info shared. <br /><br />He was put in an awkward situation where the tour was to include a tour of the royal palace but it was not communicated until the tour was about to begin that it was closed due to the pope’s visit. <br /><br />That was unfortunate because it made me feel as though the very expensive tour was shortchanging my experience. This info<br />Was very well known to the tour companies and visitors who’d have been made aware before committing to the tour.<br /><br />I had a text communication with a rep from the tour the night before and I was not told the palace would not be included. For that reason alone ( a very big omission) I give the tour operator a ZERO and the rep from last night also a zero rating.

We toured both the Prado and Royal Palace with David. Both were excellent. David took the time to explain the nuances of key works of art in the Prado along with extensive historical context. In the Royal Palace we toured thru 30 rooms with detailed explanations. David did an outstanding job making the history, art and location into a cohesive story of Madrid. Thank you!

Fue una gran experiencia, y David fue muy informativo. Mi única queja es que debería haber indicado claramente que el guía turístico proporcionaría las entradas. Very well organized tour. Although the venues are very crowded, Daniel did a superb job of guiding us through highlights of the Prado and the Palace. He was knowledgeable about Madrid and I appreciated his sense of humor and positivity. It’s not my favorite type of tour to wear a headset but it’s necessary at these venues.

The personal tour was amazing! Our guide was so knowledgeable and walking the city was a fun way to see the city. Both the Museo del Prado and the Royal Palace are must sees. We could've spent all day at either location. Definitely 10/10!

I would rate my experience 5 of 5. Ernesto was an experienced tour guide. He managed the schedule very well. We spent enough time in each place. It was an excellent tour. I would recommend it to anyone.
