Great guide. That made all the difference!

We had a 3 hour tour with Walks which was superb. Our guide took us all over east and south part of the ruins. The guide really knew his stuff and told us so much about the place and life before the eruption. We also saw an overview of the archeologists working on a new area. Fascinating. I'd recommend it to anybody

Unser Guide war großartig, sehr sachverständig und ansteckend mit ihrer Leidenschaft. Sie hat auf alle Fragen ausführlich geantwortet und auch auf unser Wohl geachtet. (Schatten!) die Organisation vorher vor Ort war ziemlich chaotisch. Die Geiz zeigen leider ihre Schilder viel zu diskret, alle Leute waren ziemlich verwirrt. Das könnte man verbessern. Aber die Führung an sich: top!

Ilaria was our archaeological guide on this tour of Pompeii. Her descriptive knowledge and enthusiasm of Pompeiian life before the volcanic eruption made the whole tour so enjoyable. The tour guide (archaeologist) was excellent and we did the three hour tour. Deeply passionate about Pompeii and absolutely tons of knowledge. Pompeii is massive and hot. Buy a UV umbrella to protect from the heat because it's just you, the sun and stone. You could probably do 5 guided tours and never repeat the same places. A "not to be missed' activity.

Francesca was a great guide, very knowledgeable and engaging without being overwhelmed by facts, we went in July and it was not too hot or crowded, check the cruise ship arrivals though, five can be in at a time!

The tour guide was exceptional she was one of the university archeologist and tour guide in tourist season. Very interesting tour with some amazing new excavations only just opened to the public. Colours, details and walking the streets really made you feel you were walking in the footsteps of Romans and reliving their lives. We are a family of 4, kids now adults really enjoyed the history of Pompeii and it has been a place I have wanted to visit for many years.

Highly informative archeological tour of Pompeii. Sonia’s knowledge and passion of Pompeii is phenomenal which made for an educational and entertaining three hour tour.
