Early Entry & Special Access Pompeii & Amalfi Coast Tour from Rome

Our main tour guide, was great! Always made sure no one was left behind, very informative and I loved that he told us the “must eat” options during our stop in Sorrento. The Pompeii tour was also really interesting. Our one complaint to that was we chose the earlier timeslot for the villa of mysteries as it was the only time to view that. However, the tour details listed that we would tour the brothels (if suitable - no one in our group was under at least 25 years and it wasn’t offered as an option) and few other interesting points in Pompeii which we were really hoping to see. I guess because we did the villa of mysteries they skipped a lot of other stuff which was unfortunate as those were some of the main attractions we were excited about. The other minor note I had, was they mention they do not supply complimentary water bottles because they are environmentally conscious - only to find out on the trip you could get water but for a fee. Not much of an issue, and not super expensive either, just an interesting note. Overall, we loved that going on this tour meant we didn’t have to figure out rest stops, best lookout/photo op spots and transportation at all! A great worry free day trip! But if you have specific things you want to see in mind and can handle all the planning logistics yourself might be worth it to check it out on your own.
