Excellent
My parents and I had a great day! The check in was clear and we met our guide, who brought us over to the bus. The bus driver was always right there for us throughout the day when we were making our way from place to place. We had a fantastic tour at Pompeii, with an amazing tour guide. Unforgettable! We had a nice visit in Sorrento and all the while learning great history and facts from our tour guide for the day!

Great
This tour was a very long day. It's quite a drive to Pompeii. As the Pompeii part of the day, it was a little rushed. Their were times when you wanted to spend a little more time with art or looking at the ruins. But, we had to move to get back to the bus for the trip to Sorrento. You are only in Sorrento for 2 hours. Not really enough time to see anything and you have to fit in your lunch.
For me, you could skip the trip to Sorrento and give us free time in Pompeii after the tour.
Both guides, tour and Pompeii, we're very good and kept us very well informed. The bus driver was absolutely lovely.
Final thought, make it trip to Pompeii, that includes a tour and then gives you time to roam about.
This would also cut down the total time from 12 hours to around 9

Excellent experience!! Aurelio was fabulous!! You can tell he enjoys what he does and takes great care of all his passengers. He recommended a great restaurant for lunch with gorgeous views that were breathtaking!! The tour was very well organized with bathroom breaks, eating, very clean van, small group. Very impressed!! Would highly recommend!!

pompeii (the main event) was incredible. sorrento/amalfi coast was a bit of a tourist trap, albeit beautiful and not something i would recommend. our guide, aurelio, was helpful and patient.

FAQs

Is there free time in Positano or Sorrento?
Absolutely. You’ll enjoy up to two hours to wander, eat, shop, or simply soak in the scenery.
Which town on the Amalfi Coast will I visit?
Most of the year, you'll visit Positano. In the low season (November through late March), most of the businesses in Positano town close, making the town rather uneventful to visit. During this time, we will visit Sorrento instead, where you'll have plenty of options for lunch and shopping.
How long is the tour?
The tour lasts approximately 2 hours. It's perfect if you are short on time, but still want to see the best of the Uffizi Gallery.
Can I use this tour as a transfer to the Amalfi Coast?
Unfortunately our transport vans do not have enough space to accommodate luggage so it's not possible to use this tour as a transfer to towns on the Amalfi Coast from Rome.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
No. Unfortunately, due to site restrictions we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. Guests should be prepared for a moderate level of physical activity, including standing for extended periods and climbing stairs, which may not be suitable for travelers with certain health conditions or mobility limitations.
What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
Is lunch included?
No. Your guide will give you a few great recommendations for lunch spots and give you plenty of time, but where and what you eat is up to you.
Is Pompeii accessible to people in wheelchairs?
The streets of Pompeii have never been repaved or smoothed over so much of the city is nearly impossible to navigate for those with mobility impairments. If you use a wheelchair there is a special route for you, so please contact our customer service department for details.
