Excellent! Good history of the area and Rome in general from a food/wine perspective without being overly boorish. Good selection of wine, food, and dessert. Did not feel rushed and conversation was excellent. Would do this tour with Matthia, and his trainees any time!

I spent these three hours enjoying the tastes and stories of Rome. <br />Out guide Mattia has lead us through the streets of Trastevere showing us how to live the aperitivo culture. <br />Without him we would have just drink and eat around without understanding anything about the background of this Italian tradition! And the food!!! So tasty!! <br /><br />I discovered lots of new Romans and Italians wines I wasn't aware of. Moreover Mattia shared with us lots of good tips on how to spot great places for eating, plus lots of recommendations to eat like a local! I feel so grateful with myself to have done this tour!!!

Nice tour in a great area. Chiara was the perfect guide informing us about the local food and wine. It could have been a bit longer stay in the restaurants but all and all. Good food, good wine and great company.

Chiara was an excellent guide! Very personable and engaging and told us so much about the area, the food and wine. Devour tours are the best we have done one before and loved it, so when I saw there was one in Rome I booked it! The food and wine and drinks were awesome!

Very much enjoyed doing the food tour around Rome. Did our tour with Chiara, she was great and very knowledgeable of the food traditions.would recommend doing this tour more toward the beginning of your stay in Rome as Chiara explains the difference between places that have more fresh food items and those that do not.

Estupenda velada con Mattia en el Trastevere!! Hemos ido a varios sitios , todo estaba delicioso, los vinos fantásticos, y además de hacer amigos, hemos descubierto el barrio y aprendido un montón! Great evening with Mattia at Trastevere!! We have gone to several places, everything was delicious, the wines fantastic, and besides making friends, we have discovered the neighborhood and learned a lot! I loved it and recommend it to everyone! I plan to go back to those hidden jewels! If you can, do it on the first day of your stay in Rome

Third food tour in Rome. The Pratti food tour with unlimited wine was cheaper and so much more fun, if I’m being honest. The other Trevestare one was more informational about the neighborhood and had more food options. This was our least favorite one but, it was still good. The guide just seemed like he was working vs showing around friends which the other guides made us feel like we were with a local friend showing us all their favorite spots.

Manuela was a fabulous guide. She was fun and friendly and full of information about the food and wine of her native Rome. I loved the tour and we ate and drank delicious treats as we wandered through Trastevere.
