Venice Express Day Tour with Gondola Ride & Doge's Palace

I really enjoyed the tour host by Roberta she is so good as a Tour women, she is knowledgeable and entertaining. I will come back soon. I would love to have her again.

This tour was an awesome way to see many of the highlights of Venice in a day. The walking tour began not far from the Rialto Bridge and took us through the less travelled areas to see churches, the local fish market, and significant buildings. We had a 30 minute gondola ride through the canals and a break for lunch. We then ended our day in St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace. Our guide Marie-Therese was very knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited and is clearly very passionate about the artistic history of Venice. Overall, this tour was the perfect blend of getting to see less well known and the well known sites.

The gondola ride was really super. Do you want to visit Venice and tell your friends that you skipped or couldn’t fit in a gondola ride? I think not. And booking a gondola ride on your own can be dicey. This was actually a 30 minute ride. We also liked the St Marks tour & Doge’s palace, plus the others sites. If you have limited time (like we did) this is a way to get it all done. We both have physical issues - Elena & Alex did what we needed and went out of their way to accommodate us. That made it a very positive experience.

Our tour guide was amazing! She made the whole tour fantastic. Perfect balance of sightseeing, storytelling, and breaks! Highly recommend it!

This was a great tour to give us a wonderful taste of Venice. Our tour guide was not only amazing and knowledgeable, but flexible and entertaining. On the day we visited Saint Marks the Venice Marathon was going through the Square. At the same time it was high tide and the area in front of the cathedral was flooded. Because of the marathon the city was unable to get the ramps out and placed in front of the cathedral for guest to enter without walking through the flooded area. Our tour guide asked if we would be willing to wait until the water receded. A couple of people weren’t able to stay, but the rest did. After an hour, the water had not receded, but we came up with a plan. Someone in the crowd provided the guide with some plastic Shoe and pant cover. Then I purchased another set, and my husband carried all the ladies across the water keeping us all dry. When our tour guide got across, he removed his plastic covers, and my husband took them back to the other side to give to the other men. It was a great experience full of so many great memories. Truly, one of my favorite memories of whole Italy trip.

This was a great way to learn the history and some of the main sights. Well with the time. Tour guide was excellent. Headsets worked really well.

This was one of our favourite tours. Our guide Guliano was simply amazing and funny. It was very informative I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

We had a great day in Venice with our guide Valentina S. We did the walking tour of Venice, Doge’s Palace and St. Marks Basilica. She had a wealth of knowledge about the city’s history and the sites we visited. It’s a six hour tour but she incorporated plenty of breaks and still kept everything on time. If you’re thinking about taking this tour, I highly recommend it and ask for Valentina S. She was fantastic.
