Carla did a great job as our guide and she gave us a wealth of information! The itinerary was planned nicely to spend time outdoors and on the gondola first before going indoors when the temperature soared after noon! This was a great tour to catch the top sights in Venice in a day including an awesome gondola ride for 30 minutes with a brief stint in the grand canal.

Allesandro was an amazing guide, so knowledgeable and interesting. He pointed out where and what and what NOT to buy. The government had changed the rules with regard to the basillica entry for tours and I had to run back to the hotel to book this on line at an additional E20.00 As the tour company knew of the change from the previous day, t would have been good to have been advised before the meeting point. Would I recommend this tour, definitely if can secure Allesandro.

The listing includes “skip the line for st marks basilica” but this tour did not take us into the basilica at all, so for that reason I feel we overpaid a little for it. However we did see doge’s palace and had a nice gondola ride, and our guide was absolutely wonderful- friendly, very knowledgeable, and kind. We had four children ages 7-12 on the tour with us and while it’s quite a bit of walking, it was very doable for them and they were fine.

Our guide was the best possible!! He was so informative and knowledgeable about everything and so passionate about his job. We were a group of 8 and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. We would highly recommend it to everyone. Cutting the lines at the palace and church made so much of a difference in time wise.
