The tour was well worth it! Charlie was so informative and funny. He kept us engaged the whole time. My 13 year old daughter and I had a great time! The whole thing was incredibly enlightening!

We did the 4hr tour of Liberty Island and Ellis Island. Rob C was our guide and what a show, worth every penny.
First off, please follow the exact directions provided on the website for meeting place. The Site should actually include a snapshot of the map with the exact location to avoid confusion with the ongoing construction at 1 Bowling Green. What ever you do, do not listen to the folks on the street wearing shirts for tours. They will send you directly to the boats. That was our mistake.
Rob C was super patient, very knowledgeable and funny. He is very invested in this tour and it shows. Please do not hesitate to book this tour, it was great.

This was an exceptionally good tour. Our guide Jett M. had a super dry sense of humor and gave us all the backstory around Lady Liberty in a really engaging and entertaining way. Obviously a smart guy with a unique perspective on history and likely a successful future career in stand-up. The statue of liberty is already an exceptional experience, but I feel like we particularly lucked out with this tour.

I have mobility issues/use a wheelchair, can I take the Statue of Liberty tour?
Yes! However please note that if your tour includes the Statue Pedestal (which has elevator access) the only part you will NOT be able to visit is a small platform at the very top of the Statue Pedestal.
What can I expect at the security checkpoint for my Statue of Liberty tour?
All guests must pass through airport-style security to go to the Statue of Liberty. Certain items are not permitted including any weapons, scissors, pocket knives, any sharp item, or tools. Large items such as suitcases and backpacks are not allowed. Food and drink are not permitted except water in a clear container.

Does this tour include access to the Statue Crown?
No. Unfortunately, tickets for the Statue of Liberty Crown are extremely limited, at only 365 per day, and sell out months in advance. Walks does not provide any tours that include the Statue of Liberty Crown.
Do you ever cancel your tours of the Statue of Liberty due to weather conditions?
Our Statue of Liberty tours run rain or shine. One exception is if the Coastguard ceases water traffic (which includes the ferry to the Statue of Liberty) due to inclement weather.
Are the hospitals on Ellis Island included on this tour?
No, The old hospitals are not open to the public and have to be booked specially if you want to visit them.
