We had a wonderful experience on this tour! Our tour guide was Joe. He is obviously incredibly knowledgeable about the history and it really is all interesting! This tour is not for you if all you want are some pictures (although there is time for that). There is good amount of walking but nothing terrible if you’re in good health. Ferry rides are fun too. I highly recommend staying for the tour of Ellis Island too, especially if you have any family connection to the immigration in the early 1900s and earlier.
